Food was excellent and service was great. Particularly enjoyed the choice of Naan breads (we had Garlic and Chilli & Corriander) which were excellent. Great choice of dishes. The ambiance was also great, they have a brightly coloured bar and the whole place feels light and airy - rather than dark and sleepy like so many other Indian Restaurants (and not a single sign of flock wallpaper).
It was a little bit more expensive than the Indian Restaurants in my home town, but seemed par for the course in Skegness. Would definitely recommend giving this a try.

I ate here with my Mum in June 2011. We had an excellent meal for 2 (main meal & drinks was about £30). The service was good & the food excellent, should I go to Skegness again I would definatley eat here.

Two of us went early evening expecting it to be empty, but even at 5pm there were several tables taken. The service was good - prompt but not rushed, and our waiter was friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, piping hot and flavoursome and ample portions. I had a king prawn dish and there were plenty in it. The atmosphere was good, with indian music playing in the background (but it sounded more contemporary than what you usually hear, which was a nice change). Prices were fairly reasonable - £37 for two starters, two mains, 2 pints of beer and 2 drinks plus naan bread.

On a weekend break without kids we wanted to eat somewhere without chips on the menu! We were impressed with the general facade and decor which was very clean and tidy. There are no set menus to haggle over but the staff are very helpful and even offered to make our favourite dishes if they weren't on the menu.

The service was prompt and the food was delicious and very well presented. We noticed that lots of people were picking up takeaways including a local taxi firm which picked up on several occasions, so the locals rate it.

We have eaten around the country and the food and service here rate amongst the best we've tried.

The cuisine is excellent, no matter what you choose. The atmosphere is very pleasant and everything is new, clean and recently decorated. Even the beer is good! We never try any of the other Indian restaurants in Skegness as nothing could come close to The Gandhi.

The service is always very good and the staff very pleasent and helpful we could not fault it at all. The restaurant is spotless and very tastfully decorated. The food is cooked fresh and tastes fantastic as do all the courses and sides we order. This is the only Indian we would even think of eating at in Skegness and we have tried all of them, We have eaten in many Indian restaurants in the UK and US and this is still the best we have ever had. All in all a very enjoyable evening out. I recommed this restaurant give it a go you will not be dissapionted.

A night to remember! We have been to The Ghandi on numerous occasions and have always had excellent service, excellent food and a warm welcoming atmosphere. We would highly recommend a visit.

I live in Birmingham, but come home to Skeggy to see family. The Gandhi is always on the list for visiting when we can. Wish they would open a branch in Brum.

This is me and my partners favourite restaurant, we always come here at least twice a month and always get fresh, tasty , delicious food. I cannot understand how there is a comment on here saying the food is bland! What! I think that is totally wrong. We always bring our family and friends here and recommend the Gandhi to everyone we know and they all say the food is fantastic. The staff here are very friendly too, polite and will advise you on different curry strength. We have never had a bad experience here and probably never will do.if you love Indian cuisine then you definatley have to try the Gandhi best in town!
